Can somebody offer Maxi a job, please.

Chris, can parts be collected? (I live quite close to Bletchley).
Thanks, John
I aint no moderator fool!Yeah Maxi clean this thread up and make it a sticky!
Chris, just in a dealership at the moment and there's a fiat service pamphlet which mentions an activated carbon pollen filter, how much extra are they?
ouch!
Car in for its 2nd service today and been advised front pads and discs 80 % worn (17k on clock)
Obviously going to avoid the £312.86 quoted from the stealer!
How easy are the pads and discs to fit myself? Can anyone help with a few pointers?![]()
Wonder if they were Panda shockers?A quick warning, learned from Experience be careful when buying other surpliers rear shockers they may be too long by an inch which causes the rear springs to bounce on the spring pans. But at least unlike the fiat ones they are available to buy and not on back order with no eta (maybe the 18000 miles I got out of a set is fairly normal after all)![]()
I think there will be a certain element of that, but a fair few people with Panda's have had dampers fail MOT's and wishbones too.Sounds to me like you drive on some really crap roads. Suspension parts generally last a lot longer in normal conditions.
