Technical Service Aux Battery warning

Hi, I had a warning on my screen saying ‘service aux battery’ and then stop start was unavailable and engine light also came on. The car then felt like the power wouldn’t get up so I turned around parked back up at home. Does anyone know if this is serious or a quick easy fix?? Thank you

If the engine light is on then you will have a fault code stored, if you can get it code read somewhere then it’ll be a lot easier to diagnose. Start stop is always one of the first things to stop working if a fault is detected in the charging system or the battery has deteriorated

Hi, I have just had the same error come up on my dashboard. Did you find out what had caused this?

If these hybrid auxiliary batteries really are failing after 4yrs/20k, this is bad news indeed; replacements are likely main dealer only and crazy expensive.
