Hi All,

Car is Fiat Doblo 2005 Diesel MPV1.9 JTD - 119_,223_1910cc 77KW 105HP 223 A7.000;223 B1.000

Had it for 3 years now - no complaints at all - put in a new MAF (chinese) cleared all 'smoking' problems.

Only other problem so far a new Serpentine Belt - that was fun - but buying a flat long handle for the relevent socket needed to 'twerk' the Belt Tensioner while fitting got me out of difficulty.

But now after a year free of problems - strange noise - I think Bearings on Air Con pump which sits right out in front of other pulleys - I noted it 'rattled' when fitting the Serpentine.

I was told at time of fitting new Serpentine Belt - that 2 sizes existed one longer for with Air Con and 1 shorter for without Air Con.

Further that the shorter could be used if Air Con was not going to be used.

Thought this might do this to allow me time to find and fit a new AirCon pump - fitting the Belt being a quick interim job.

I have researched and found the relevant Belts - but before a purchase want to check the layount diagram of the shorter Serpentine Belt - cannt find a diagram anywhere.

I am not to sure how and where the Tensioner would sit on the shorter Belt.

Anyone know of a Belt Layout diagram - grateful for a pointer.

Best Rgds to All.

I have shown this before if it helps for a similar query.
The one on the right written on was my 05 Doblo 7 seater which was standard without air con if it helps.

Before I retired from the motortrade I used to buy the petrol and diesel versions of this manual each year at around £100 a time. It's now online only at much more money and expires if not yearly renewed, but does give even more information.:)
