Scottish Italian Car Day 2013 South and West convoy

Right guys, Not sure who's attending from the west, but thoughts are that someone from that direction could arrange a small gathering at showcase cinema (G69 7TZ) and then head to McD's at south queensferry services at echline (EH30 9YJ).

For those that are coming from the west, could you try and be at the cinema for no later than 6:30AM and depart for south Queensferry at about 6:45AM. Those going to south queensferry first, can you be there for about 7:15AM so we can get away for 7:30AM. Based on that we should be able to reach cupar for about 8:30AM.

Also, reg. plates will be welcomed so we can find those that are with us.

Got to say, andi hasn't been that active with this, this year. Theres a guy on abarthisti meeting at the showcase so you can tag along with them.

Andi can't make it this year - think he's on holiday or something. Unfortunately I can't help with the south convoy either now as I'm not staying at my aunt's and am booked into a b&b less than 5 miles from Tarvit instead. Hopefully gengis will be at Maccy D's and able to lead the convoy

I'll be at the bridge, im planning on helping as soon as I get there with the arrangement of the area and such. Or atleast thats what I plan to happen

By bridge I'm assuming (and hoping) you mean South Queensferry in which case nice one and I feel less guilty now for making sure I'm not getting up at the crack of dawn on the day

Plus, if the assembled masses are bleary eyed and vulnerable, sign them up for this :laugh:

Yep, I'm talking about echline services. We shall see what happens. Might get some more to attend, and there is a 5th car going on show aswell.

It depends where you mean by there. If it's Hill of Tarvit then we're aiming for people to be on site by 9 am. Later is possible but we can't guarantee a spot on the stand as it fills up quickly which means you may be relegated to the car park. You're still welcome to attend the bbq/group photo etc though. Btw, there is an option to camp the night before if that's of any use

Convoy there - as said in the lead post the first meeting is at the showcase cinema at 06:30. I've no idea where that is and hopefully Scoop will provide a postcode for the non-locals soon. The next meet up after that is 07:15 at echline/south queensferry services which is EH30 9YJ

As long as the car's a fiat it's eligible for the stand - there's no other requirement and we take everything from battered old puntos to pristine well-loved convertibles. Therefore as long as you're there early enough your car will be on the stand.

Post pics of both cars anyway though as it's always appreciated. They can either go in the Show us your car! thread or in the member's section of the gallery. Or both if you really want
