Scottish Italian Car Day 2013
I'll echo what everyone else has said in that it was a great day and show. At the risk of sounding like I'm accepting an academy award there are some thanks I wish to make on behalf of the events staff
First, thanks to all of you who showed up with your cars, OH's, family etc as it wouldn't have been half as much fun without you all. Thanks to Martyn for getting FS organised and there. Also thanks to Mike for allowing us to use his trailer to cart everything down even if it did mean getting left behind all the time. Thanks to Craig and James for helping out the events staff and providing the gazebo and doing the bbq respectively. Finally thanks to Jackie and co at AROC for organising it all.
Hope to see you all again next year.

I'm sure what I'm about to post has been sumarised already, but fecking hell WHAT A WEEKEND
First of all thanks to everyone who's helped out over the course of the weekend - Craig, Harper, Mike and James in particular for helping get stuff to site and getting cars onto site. Also thanks to the other Martyn for making up some new stickers for us - we're open to suggestions and a few internal stickers WILL be ordered up and available for sale soon.
Also I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to come along today, particularly some of the new faces. It's become a fairly compact yet busy show so it's always good to see new faces there. To anyone who's just signed up to the site thanks very much indeed

Going forward some of you will be aware of wisperings of a new event in August. There's no confirmation that this will happen yet but hopefully we should hear in the next few days. I'll keep you posted as and when information becomes available.
Remember folks, this is YOUR site. We'll take the 'zeebo and the BBQ to the shows YOU want to go to. We're going to sort a local meet in Aberdeen in the next week or two, but our next big event looks set to be the West Coast Rally - Eglington Park, Irvine - 14th July 2013

First of all thanks to everyone who's helped out over the course of the weekend - Craig, Harper, Mike and James in particular for helping get stuff to site and getting cars onto site. Also thanks to the other Martyn for making up some new stickers for us - we're open to suggestions and a few internal stickers WILL be ordered up and available for sale soon.
Also I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to come along today, particularly some of the new faces. It's become a fairly compact yet busy show so it's always good to see new faces there. To anyone who's just signed up to the site thanks very much indeed

Ok, So I get no thanks for the pics, nor organisation or help to the stand? I know I'm new but come on! Surely I deserve a thanks :tongue:
Anyway, on a more serious note, I'm currently in talks with the West Coast Rally organiser and so far it looks like we can get as much space as we need. Will need to see about what other clubs that attend will bring though. Also, I'll need to contact Gemma@knockhill to see if we can get a club stand for the BTCC.

No need to thank me it was a fantastic day was good to finally meet all of you sorry if a was not my talkative self just uber tired after a late nite fixing the cinq so a could be with you all a will sort out the other things we discussed and get back to you but will get the fs internal decals sorted tomorrow will 50 be enough to start with
It was actually quite fine to see what its like from a spectators view for once after being on the events team previously for the past few years, was a lot more enjoyable this time around.
