Scottish Italian Car Day 2013

Okey dokey, im a deffo i will be heading down around 6am-ish i will have my wife ,who is a bigger car fan than me and my son in tow. Will i be the only one bringing family with me, if so will that be an issue?

My reg is fg52 yln. Ive just cleaned my wheels with wonder wheel and ill be replacing my abarth badge tomorrow just for this, im really looking forward to it now. I also own abarth decals that i have never put on my car yet so im gonna try and get the chief livery guy at my work to affix them tomorrow too.

What kind of time will this be on until, just so i know how much food and stuff to bring down with me.

Boydie.

Ps would i be better paying online or just at the gate when i get there?

Hi, there's no problem at all with your family attending and you won't be the only one, I think Scoop is taking his missus and little one along too.

The event runs until 4 however some people do leave early if they need/want to. Just so you know there will a bbq although nothing grand and there will be juice etc too.

It's cheaper if you pay online but you can pay at the gate if you wish. If you do pay online don't forget to take the eTicket with you along with id such as drivers licence or the card used to pay.

Any other questions just ask and someone will try and answer

Thanks for the feedback, ive just checked the weather forecast and its looking like fife will be one of the warmest parts of our fair isle on sunday.

Ive just went to the official site to pay for tickets but it seems they want me to pay the same for my 5yo son as they do for me and my wife is that correct?? Im not against charging for kids but when its at thesame price as an adult admission that annoys me. If i wasnt booking online i would be stung for 30 notes at the gate. 10quid entry is an obscene amount of money to ask for a 5yo child when the said event isnt aimed at them.

On the other hand 24 quidfor the three of us is bareable of it was £10 per adult and £4 per child

Off my soapbox now, hahaha just read that back im not that grumpy all the time.

Honest

See you sunday

Gazebo's up folks and the bbq and supplies are ready to go

All that's needed now are your good selves. Drive safely and see you tomorrow

I should add (esp for those who haven't been before) is that what you can see in the picture above is Martyn writing a sort of programme of events. Can everyone please stop by the gazebo and check it out so you know when things like the group photo will happen and when the bbq will start.

As our usual photographer may not be on site as sharp as he hopes thanks to his missus not being a morning person (sorry Jodes :laugh :) if anyone is taking a camera along and is happy for it to be used to take the group photo can you mention it to a member of site staff. You won't be able to miss us as we'll be wearing the very fetching orange high-vis vest thingies (and yes that is the technical term lol). You can either email it later to [email:354jyu0m][email protected][/email:354jyu0m] or take the equipment needed to download it on the day.

Many thanks to anyone who can help and to Alex if he can get Jodie out of bed in time to make it before midday :D
