5th - 8th September 2008
A Titanic Enduro Run of 1,000 Miles
During September 2008 we will take our Scally cars across the water to start SRI2008 in Belfast.
From the Titanic Quarter in Belfast, where the great ship was built, to Cork where the last passengers boarded for the fateful maiden voyage across the Atlantic via Irelands most northern point, Malin Head and it’s most southern point, Mizen Head.
The route follows the northern, western and part of the southern coasts of Ireland.
You will be driving on some of the most scenic roads in Europe and most importantly passing over many of Irelands famous Rally Stages, from Atlantic Drive in the North to the famous Tim Healy pass in the Kerry Mountains.
Registration open from the 31st January 2008.
The Rules
Common sense ....
Drive safely, within the limits of yourself and your car.
Documentation ...
Valid MOT and insurance must be presented at time of rally registration on day 1. No documentation, no rally !
The car ...
Your car must have cost you no more than £100, if you were given it or it was donated it must not look like it cost more than £100. If you think there may be debate over the value of your car please get a receipt or written confirmation from the previous owner. The organisers decision is final !!
You are not limited to the amount of money you can spend on doing up your car, making it road worthy and getting it through it's MOT if necessary.
