General Rear camera not working

Purchased this radio last week and bought a code from here, all working except for rear camera, it seems identical to the unit Ive

replaced, does any know why This unit is not compatible with a 2019 plate ducato with factory fitted rear camera

One more thing: in the earlier models (x250), the image from the factory installed reverse camera was displayed on a screen hanging of the roof like described and shown here.

I don't know which year they started installing a radio unit with reverse camera display on the dashboard. Was it with the introduction of the x290 model (2014) or one of the faceliftings? Were all radio units able to display the reverse camera image? Or you needed a special model?

Looking at both stickers above and connection diagrams on them, it seems to me that neither of them has a connection to the reverse camera. Or it is not clearly described.

On mine the camera was in the area of pins 21-40 and is specifically built into the loom, but you need the correct firmware in the head unit for it to be recognised. If I can find it I'll post up the document I had when I had my new Alpine head unit installed, which lists all the necessary info on the camera setup
