Hello, I notice the following "anomaly" and I don't know if it is normal. When I turn off the air conditioner only and only when i stop the car on idle, the fans can rotate for 10 minutes until the pressure drops. If the air conditioner is turned off while driving, the fins are lowered depending on the heat, for a short period and then stopped. I'm asking for opinions and does anyone turn off their A/C on spot after stopping? I've been turning it off in that way and the fans been stopped in max minute or two as they should. I refill the ac but is still there this anomally, the specialist says, its normal in that heated weather to fans keep going like that. Is it necessary to wait fans to turn off when i turn off the ac or i can switch the car off?

After key off the fan working for cool the water cooling radiator not for AC. It is good ideea to stop AC with 3-5 minutes before Key off and turn the interior fan to maximum for drying the AC interior evaporator.

Im stopping the ac at the end destination, and fans keep going for much long time… thats the problem. When i stop the ac before the end destination its not have the problem with fans.

Yes it is normal because the AC radiator is hot, water radiator is hot and the fan need long time to cool both of them. But the signal for stop the fan is given by water temperature sensor.

Maybe faulty water temperature sensor? But its so strange to happened only when i turn off the ac on one place, when its in driving its have no worriess

If temperature needle from instrument cluster stand upright when you drive the car everything is ok.

Temperature stays at the center, fans coming in and out, everything is perfect but i have little bothers about this. On my previous car 1.9 tdi disel, when i turned off the compressor(ac) the fans stop after like a 30 secs. When i notice that i was started to search a problem with this fans..

Two different type of engines. The 1.4 Tjet run much hotter than diesel engine.
On my Bravo 1.6 Multijet when key off the fan is off and dont run any second.

The fans runs on slow only when the engine is on and the ac is turned off on one place like parked car and idle, if i turned off the car almost immediately after the ac is off and its in parked pos, no matters, if i will wait the fans they’re going waaaay too much like 5-10 minutes. And i think its relay for 1st speed…

It is manual AC or automatic AC?

Then the outside fan have 2 speeds. On the fusebox in motor compartment the larger relay is the relay for speed nr. 2
Check this relay if it works.
thanks alot, i will try to change first speed bc i see its the first speed don’t turn off and after that if it don’t fix this, i will change the big relay for speed nr2

Update of thread: changed the relay of first speed, clean the radiator with water, when i stop and turn off the ac(thats after 50 mins of ride with 100-120 kmph) the second speed turn off immediately, and spins first speed for like 5 minutes. It is need to wait the fans goes off, cooling the freon, radiator and etc or i can switch the car off?

For this particular situation it is good to wait 3-4 minutes with engine at relanti and after that shut off the engine.
Not for AC or cooling but for cool the turbine.

Thanks alot for responses, u are gold my brother. For all other's, the small thing's is very important, like a wash radiators/intercoolers and etc, after that i have very good pluses for do that 1-2 times in the year :) (better acceleration, better cooling, better for AC, etc etc).

Greetings,
