General Panday: Thoresby Hall 25th August
I think this is Panday 7, theres been a few offshoots. It might be 8 or 9?
Anyway, this time theres no number. As per usual it's the Notts classic/Mini show at Thoresby Hall. Sometimes we did the May show, sometimes August.
Details
It's £3.50 for entry. (Only if we book together)
My Parade was out of action for a while, so i've missed a few meets and this time I'm bringing the 100HP. 1 in 4 cars is allowed to be post '99, however as long as we don't abuse this rule too much, in the past they've been fine letting us slip in an extra newer car.
We've done this a few times now and it's a pretty good day to be had.
What happens on a Panday? You could get lost, break down, have a slight accident, get stumped by your handbrake or buy some Lancia Montecarlo alloys. All of these things are possible.
I won't start an event thread yet, as i'm aware it's a bit short notice and only a couple of us might turn up.

This is the BH weekend and I'm going to Blenheim Palace for a show. Not sure whether we're going Sun or Mon. If it's the Sun and I'm feeling like a trip oop North I might appear at Thoresby - it's not very likely so just treat it as an added bonus (?!!

Erm, we're struggling for pre '99 cars at the minute.
Can everyone whos going add to the list and say what vehicle you're bringing please? Also could you add yourself to the event thread.

Just throwing this out there, IF this event were to be changed, would everybody be onboard? The new event in mind, is bigger, allows car clubs to bring any year car and on the plus side, theres a car boot next door.
I looked around and this was the closest place that allows all ages of car. (Unless anyone knows of another?)

The organisers have said that as long as theres more pre '95 cars than post we're ok. Thats alot better than 1 in 4.

I'm certainly happy to give this one a whirl, everyone must have been to Thorazine by now so Ripple sounds good to me, far better than ending up in the public parking (or next to the WC's again) all been together.
It's not localism either - I shall be further away than most from this as I'm moving. Beautiful part of the world though with lots of lovely quiet roads to explore after perhaps?

Yeah it's not a definite, but theres about a week left to decide. I either need an influx of Classics or... it has to be Ripon.
Or option 3, nothing at all.

Yep, it's a classic car show and everyone wants to roll up in their modern stuff
If anyone still wants to go to Thoresby in a proper Panda I'm still a maybe tending towards probably....
Although I enjoy the Thoresby shows, I'm not going to be able to make this one as I have other family things on
...Hope to be at Mitcar though - Sisley probably as it hasn't been anywhere for months...

So today I somehow ended up with a second job, which means more pennies. (To pay for the stupid gas guzzling 100 )
Unfortunately it means I can't go to Thoresby.
Theres still 5 days left for someone to take charge.
