I don't feel confident enough to drive to Italy yet. But I am driving in Florida this year so hopefully that increases my confidence

It's certainly something I would love to do, what an experience! And bringing all those lovely parts back

I don't think the italians carry guns if they don't like your driving

Nah you'll be fine - I managed it years ago, drove from New Orleans to Orlando and back!

The 2014 Panda off-road club dates have now been released as 13th, 14th & 15th of June - Luca has explained that this is the usual time for the yearly national gathering now, so if people who are interested in coming can start to think about leaving a couple of weeks free around these dates for 2015 then we can aim for then and I can get some propper planning done.

I know it's a long way off as yet and it's likely that the exact dates will not be released until a couple of months prior to the event, but atleast now we have something to aim at :thumbup:

Uh oh, those are the Le Mans dates this year and therefore probably next year too.

Tough call for me, I was hoping to do both.

Me and Mrs Compo might be able to meet up with this in Italy as we plan the tow the little car to Europe in 2015.
I will be interested to follow your plans.
So far this year has crashed and burnt as I have to miss Brooklands to go to a wedding in Barcelona and the Bus rally in Hampshire will find me at a Military vehicle show in kent.
Other than that everything is going to plan so 2015 is in planning now

We may even drive back to the uk and pick up the bianca for the run.

Hey all, I am not 100% positive still as to whether or not I will be able to attend this event due to the recent personal happenings, but I have confirmation now that the Italian Panda Club will be meeting for their annual get-together in the 2nd and 3rd week of June, 2015.

This was my original plan, to drive through and see them at some point over their meet period, and spend the rest of the time enjoying the countryside and visiting scrap yards! So are we all still interested in doing this? And if so are we happy going to the national gathering or shall we just make up our own trip?
