Technical oil light

2005 ducato 2.8jtd, have had problem with no oil pressure, pump was not pushing enough oil, this has been sorted now but after driving for around 2 miles oil light comes back on, weird thing is when ticking over the light is out, rev gently to 2500 rpm light comes on, would have thought it would be on at low revs and not higher.

Could the pressure switch be sticking? Its not the easiest thing to reach, on back of cylinder block near the alternator.
