Hi all, my best pal just bought a 2017 2l Diesel Fiat Ducato ex openreach van, Everything seems fine with it, running wise. However after a short or long run when the engine is switched off, immediately there is a loud noise from the engine bay that lasts 15mins. The best way to describe the noise is it sounds like an old type writer. If you put the key back in the ignition and turn the key to all dash lights are on the noise stops. The dealer (not Fiat) who sold the Van said it was the throttle body bearing. Anyone else experiencing this problem or can advise us on any implications this may have as we are working away from home and although low mileage to the job site and hotel 5 days a week, we are doing approx 600miles return journeys from home to job then home again, leaving us 1 or 2 days to get this fixed. Any help would be appreciated and if this is a Vital Repair before it progresses and causes any expensive damage.
