Tuning Need some tuning advice for my 1.4 T Jet Bravo

Hi Daniel, I got a exact same car as yours and I am in Sydney.
I am looking for the tuning map for my car ( map only ) and I knew that Vince from Automoda would upgrade that for me using all equipment they already have.
Don't go for chip box, they are NOT helpful at all as I got one off ebay already.
K&N filter can't see any different too.

I had some tuning experience for my FG XR6 before and trust me, they most helpful thing is a ecu tuning.
Regards,
I know a few Alfa owners that have had Automoda ecu tunes (allegedly originally AutoDelta) and they have been underwhelmed by the results ....... but very overwhelmed by the cost, especially as it is just a re-flash and nothing more

I know a few Fiat / Alfa owners with TMC boxes and they seem to be very happy with the results. Good discussion in this thread https://www.fiatforum.com/bravo/250994-tmc-tuning-box-anyone-fitted-t-jet-150-a.html

I am thinking getting my Abarth ECU tuned when out of warranty but I cannot seem to find anyone here in Oz that really knows how to tune FGA turbo motors

Cheers Joseph, I don't know what differences between TMC boxes and others as TMCs are way more expensive. Do you know how it works? I got another box from Ebay (called Pro-racing) at $110, I didn't even connect it to my car because I opened the box and noticed that it only changes the resistance, which would only see minimum effect but wouldn't see potential harm to the car.

Hi Guys,

I am in Sydney too. Great to hear there are Bravo/Ritmo owners here. I have a tjet sport with the following mods.

Tarox racing discs (grooved). With EBC racing brake pads(yellow).

Ragazzon exhaust Group N turbo back.

ECU remap by Sam Carulli at City Performance Centre in Artarmon(Highly recommended)

I track the car once a month at Wakefield Park and Sydney Motorsport Park. It's great fun to drive and has been very reliable so far( have completed 10+ trackdays thus far).

Biggest power gain and performance difference is definitely from the ECU remap. I highly recommend it.

If anyone has had any experience with suspension setup for the Bravo I would been keen to hear from you.

:)

Hey.

I have a 120hp 1.4 T-Jet Punto and a 150hp 1.4 T-Jet Ritmo in my family (Sydney, Aus)

Good to see a few more Ritmo/Bravo owners around. My Ritmo is stock as a rock but i've modded the Punto up a bit. Basically if youre looking for aftermarket Fiat parts in Aus your best bet is to go through either Italian or UK sites, even ebay.it or .uk.

I've got my lowering springs, BMC filter etc all from there, as with the rest of my parts. You in sydney as well Daniele? What colour/spec you got?
Yeah Mate, Sydney born and bred :) how you finding the mods to your Punto? Nearly bought one but in the end I just needed the boost from the 1.4 turbo in my Ritmo :p

I know Magneti Marelli do tuning boxes for Abarth 500's and result in quite a large power hike! But as far as i know, you cant find them in Australia, has to be bought online :/

Wow! basically the exact set of mods im looking to do with my Bravo! Except im thinking of putting the Tarox 112 Pads on there, but im open to suggesstions. Hows the sound with the full Turbo back exhaust and increased power?

Yeah the larger turbo on the Ritmo's T-Jet boosts hard! The Punto goes alright, i wanna swap out the small turbo on my Punto for an Abarth turbo but it'll cost heaps in aus unfortunatly...
