Might aswell post it up, 2 weeks ago a woman crashed into me on a roundabout (while i was on it). Its 100% her fault and my car goes into the garage tomorow to be assesed then fixed if needed. Although ive been to my mates garage and they said its 50/50 if wrote of or not because of the cost to fix it compared with the value of the car.

Im still absolutely gutted and it doesnt seem like my car anymore its just a run about, as i said it goes in tomorow so ill see if it will get fixed, but ill always know thats its had a crash Let me know what you think (sorry ignore my m8s head :yuck :

Ouch. not being funny but I'm surprised there paying to fix it. Will need rear quarter panel etc. i've seen them get wrote off for less .

Just noticed you may have to pay for it yourself if its 50/50. God insurance companies are ****ng dumb.

got your txt today mate, if they write it off are you puting it back as standard as possible?

and its quite a mess, the backrest on the rear seats doesnt clip into place anymore eithur.

Yea i think your right, luckily though its her fault 100% so it should be either wrote of or fixed and no complicated court cases etc fingers crossed anyway!

It is standard. I told them about the colour of the wheels when i did them .



Thanks everyone, still gutted . Well its gone to the garage today, they said they would ring me tomorow or the day after so watch this space! Oh insurance valued it at £2500 aswell. Chances are its still wrote off but ill let you kno as soon as i know.

i mean your 2b rears and de-tangoed fronts, you should swap with some one local so they dont go with it to the scrappy if its a write off .

There still on the car because my car has gone to get fixed. If its wrote of then i might have them. Ill post in classifieds if its wrote of and anythings for sale.

Just to let you know, Its not a write of. They are fitting a new side including the door and repairing the bumper and spraying it etc. God knows how they have the budget to do it though because its in until the 20th of october so labour must cost a bomb on its own!

Even though im still annoyed im glad its being fixed because i dont have to start car shopping and i didnt want my car to go to scrap Ill let you all know when its back and tell you how good Carl Vella are. So far ther utter useless, they havnt rung us once, we have had to do all the phoning round

i would go round regularly to make sure they are doing it properly.I bet they just pull the worst of the dents and filler over it, but its not exactly cost effective to put a new rear 1/4 panel on, as its an integral part of the chassis.
