Update on the Multipla in the USA...
Well, after the Fiat Freak Out, I drove the Multipla back to Knoxville to prepare for out cross country trip. The plan is to run this thing cross country along the original Rt 66 (whats left of it anyway).
So far, the Multipla experience has been fun. Everyone looks and the nickname "ugly Duck" has stuck like glue. This thing makes everyone smile so it cannot be bad.
We have had a couple of issues though. On the way home from FFO, the nicely working Air Con stopped working. Looks like the evaporator core has a leak. Not sure if it is an o-ring or something more sinister.
I have also noticed the tensionor bearing is making noise. I plan to fix these issues before we start our trip.
I plan to get a vehicle wrap for the trip that promotes FLU and other worthwhile clubs/vendors. Stay tuned for info on our plans as they develop.
