I'm wondering if the MAP sensor on my Grande Punto should every be cleaned or changed?
From what I can gather they work off barometric pressure, so they can be dirty and / or covered in oil. There is a slight wandering of the rev counter, that may or may not be related to this. I've never actually checked the MAP sensor though, so don't know what I'd be looking at or for. The car is at 90k miles.
