Technical fiat grande punto 2010 front driver abs sensor fault

might be helpful had abs light on code read with a icarsoft v2.0 reader showed front drive sensor fault showed no output . before i changed the sensor i unplugged it and checked continuity on both the wires back to the abs pump connector plug ,only continuity at one wire .traced wire back along front scuttle bulkhead and found broken wire on passenger side next to a cable clip soldered in a new piece of cable and heat shield repair . i've unloaded photo may help others

I had similar on a Skoda Scout 4x4, the dealers even sell a repair section from the wheel arch to the inner wing, sad to say mine had failed further into the wiring loom where for some unknown reason the wire went from the inner wing , through the bulkhead to behind the passenger glove box and then back out again to the ABS pump without connecting to anything else.
