Can a 51737884 BZ be used in place of a 51701703 BZ? Appearance wise they are identical parts.

Looking at ePER (FIAT's spare parts catalogue, link on the bottom of the forum banner), both of the mentionned fuseboxes along with another 2 have been replaced in November 2005 by another one, part number 51744837:
As far as I could check the Grande Punto was launched only in 2005, which is a little bit strange to me. It could be interesting to know the exact production start date.
ePER does not mention why those parts have been replaced (it frequently does, but on the old piece diagram, and none of them is available). This could be the C12335 modification, however I can't find the cause nor description.
The 51744837 part appears on two diagrams:
2Y Grande Punto (2005 - 2008) and 4C Grande Punto (2008-2009).
The 51744837 was installed on 1,2 MPI 8v, 1,4 MPI 8v and 1,4 MPI 16v engines.
Due to the fact that the diagrams with old part numbers are not present in ePER it's impossible to check on which engines and options the old ones were available.
The fact that both have been replaced by the same part number can mean they can easily be swapped. But does not have to.
