i undertstand the vw scene very well actually. do you understand the law? how about road safety?
your plate is illegal and your tyres are an accident waiting to happen.

Have no idea re legality of mods mentioned earlier in thread but personally think it looks fab (and presumably others agreed hence trophy ?). Obviously much time and dedication paid off !

I like the Gti Lupo, a neat little car if you're small and can fit inside. Don't like the wheels/tyres, Bra isn't that bad but would look better without it IMO. Can't help thinking fitting incorrect tyres is bad and are probably illegal. Wonder what an insurance company and law would say in the event of an accident?
The red goes with the wheels and colour theme of the car.. and the dice is old school VW style!

Why does that make it chav? Putting dust covers on a Porsch wouldnt make it chav as they could'nt afford a Porsch. It's like saying you can't wear Lacoste or Nike as you are being a chav, yet you see a lot of people that ar'nt chavs wearing them including pro golfers, tennis players ect ect .

he needs to run stretch to get the wide wheels under the arches, if he didnt have stretch he wouldnt be able to have the wide wheels. the tread width is still adequate and in full contact with the road so how is it dangerous?
and why should you care about his plates? hes the one who would get the fine, its not going to pose a threat to anyone on public roads and imo they look good. how are having german plates on a german car chav? honestly?
I take it you have no understanding of the idea behind streching tyres then?
The safety side of it has nothing to do with the amount of tread in contact with the road surface. But the forces put on the sidewall when cornering.
nice clean car, but i am a sucker for the standard look of any car .
IF you like the look of your car why mod it? But those tyres do a bit too stretched!
