Lupo GTi update

heres a few pictures of my Lupo GTi

Looks good, dont like the stetched tyres or German plates though... sorry!

at first it looks great.

then you notice the bonnet bra but you tell yourself it was only done for a joke

but then you see the tyres and you begin you doubt the owner's intelligence

and then finally you see the plates and you realise that it takes a lot more than a vw to hide chavness.

its ashame really. if you can take that initial wow factor and make it last more than 5 secs you may be able to get some credibily on the road, but you'll need to remove the bra and fit tyres that fit the wheels and fit legal plates. its either that or drive so fast that no one notices the chavccesories.

I can't see any "chav" details on this car????

It's Euro style.. Euro style is all about the wide wheels and lowered cars!

And with the bonnet bra.. each to their own! I'm not a fan of it but it does it's job! And besides you can take it off and put it on when you want!!

not a fan of it tbh, can't hide the fact it's a VW, and the last time they were cool was when the beastie boys had VW badges on chains

PS- there's nothing wrong with your car btw, looks nice enough but not a fan of that sort of "styling"

but chavs like corsas and paxos? most of them have never heard of a lupo has no LED washers, has no crap anodised wiper blades, doesn't have plastic spinners? so not quite sure if jug is seeing the same pics


Very nice lupo, theres nothing outlandish on it, its euro, and done VERY well, and kept clean

Looks far better than the black one I've seen in Loughborough, that looks horrid (mostly due to it being semi-rat)

Not a fan of such stylings but thats a personal preference, looks like youv put plenty of effort in and that I can appreciate!

As was asked earlier, did you hammerite the nuts?

they are plastic nut covers which i rubbed down, used plastic red spray and then clear coat over top

Hmmmm, i like it but something just isn't quite right.
As for the plates comments, I got the same about the "F" plates on my Pug.

I'm a bit confised by the comments, i can't see nothing chav about it. I've see the car in the flesh and it is gorgeous.Admitly the bonnet bra does look out of place but does serve a purpose and i can see why he would use it when you see how mint the rest of the car is. Aslong as you like it mate thats all that counts
