As title - what’s the difference between the clutch for a LH drive car and one for a RH drive car?

Am guessing it must be the CSC, pipe work perhaps?

Have had my car back from the garage after a full clutch kit (not DMF though) replacement, the LUK part number on the invoice is for a LH drive vehicle according to the LUK online catalogue.

Am curious about this, looking for a little knowledge before approaching the garage.

I think I have a recollection (from conversations on here) that the LHD clutch is cable operated? I am not sure if that would have implications for the release bearing if part of the kit?? (Or its associated mechanism?)

I had read that here too, but am not sure that it is, LUK list a CSC for LH drive cars. Bizarrely they don’t list a CSC for RH drive…?

I too was under the impression the LHD cars used a cable-operated clutch.

Just checked and ePER seems to confirm this...
LHD (cable operated) https://eper.fiatforum.com/en/Drawings/Detail/F/F/GIN/33/181/1/ALL/0/SubGroup
RHD (hydraulic): https://eper.fiatforum.com/en/Drawings/Detail/F/F/GIN/33/181/3/ALL/0/SubGroup
However, the clutch plate itself is not shown as different, and is same for 2- and 4-WD versions. There is a different clutch for each of the three engine options though (0.9TA, 1.2 petrol and 1.3 diesel) - https://eper.fiatforum.com/en/SubSubGroups/F/F/GIN/33/181/9

Seems likely that LUK have mixed the listing up on their online catalogue then. The Repset Pro includes the CSC and states LH drive but must actually be for RH drive. Whilst the standard repset listed for RH is without CSC but must be for the cabled LH drive car.
