Technical Induction Modifications

Although the gsr sits low, I do recall seeing an opening in the plastic undertray which would suck up the air flowing under the car. The photoshopped mod looks quite nice, would have to be done with a lot of care though, one slip with a drill and it'll be ruined :)

PS I have the gsr that killed the mentioned engine now fitted to my panda lol

Anybody who have tried this kit ?

Sorry, but any induction close to the floor is flawed in real world day to day driving. Read a few 100HP's have copped it on this site and have seen many other cars experience experience.

Alfa 147, 156, 166 and GTV had the intake even lower before JTS versions. So have some BMWs andsome other cars.

And there was only 1 100HP with the problem mentioned and another car that had a stock intake was already stranded before with the same problem in the very same puddle.

Please stick to the facts.

Here is a real world situation
:nutter:

How is that real world? You would be insane to drive through that with a stock filter on.

AND IF I did come across something like that, then I would just undo the top part of the kit where it attaches to the engine, drive through it, then reattach the other side.

heaed about a bmw story up the scrappy yesterday r=that got hydrolocked, it had no induction kit.

then got talking about hydrolock and it seems to me a lot more common than we see posted on here for cars with no mods at all. think people need to realise that its due to how a the car is driven in bad situations and not because of a kit
