Been there for a long time now. The metal tubing doesnt get that hot and doesnt rub on the ht leads.

hmmm, not ideal though.
Built a little plinth for mine to sit on above the ht's - will take a pic of that bit too when I get chance.

Aye, it was never meant to be perminent but you know how things get left lol......
Oh and btw another modification you can do to it to improve it is increase the rigidity of the elbow. This can be done by putting another jubilee clip around the elbow at its 45 degree angle and tighten a little.

vacuumhose for map or similar, if you do not have a spare vacuum hose when you remove your intake then you dont need the hole and you can block it up (the correct size bolt and a hose clip works nicely)What do you reckon the hole on the elbow is for?

Matt, wouldn't it have been easier to connect the breather at the elbow and blank off the hole in the metal tube rather than link the original breather and the smaller diameter pipe?
