Technical Hello all, help with a 4x4 Panda question

We are looking for a new, used, secound car and we love the look and feel of the Mk 3 Panda, so nice.
But, how is it in winter without 4x4, is it ok?
We live in Norway, get snow and down to say -25C, roads can get icy and covered in slush. MAybe we do not need 4x4, but my wife need automatic gear.
As far as I am able to find out, did Fiat not deliver the Panda 4x4 with any kind of automatic, only stick shift?
If so, we just have to go with a 2WD version.

The dualogic is full of rubber seals and membranes which deteriorate over time

Over 13 years old, with not many dualogic/auto specialists about, you might be better looking at a post 2012 model, preferably under 10 years

This - the usual counsel is to avoid this automatic system as it's plagued with reliability issues.

If you want a small auto 4wd then maybe the Suzuki S Cross CVT is a candidate, depending on Norwegian availability?

I couldn't find any panda, 4x4, with dualogic for sale in the UK

I have tried googling with 4x4, trekking, climbing and cross

Whether they are made is irrelevant if you can't buy one

Other countries might be different

Funnily enough I just browsed looking for them too and came up blank. But with decent tyres a regular Panda will be perfectly capable, I'm sure - especially in a country which is used to there being a thing called snow

Yeah, think we will go with a post 12 or something else, coz of the dualogic system.
(But, ahh, the Panda is so much nicer than say a Suzuki.....My wife needs to learn how to drive a stick shift)

I've owned both. They each have their different virtues, but I certainly rate the Suzuki

I believe the Suzuki uses the Nissan CVT transmission. It's not noted for reliability.

I doubt there any worse than any other, CVT in general aren't known for there longevity
