Tuning handling

I'll be dropping -90 on my coilovers :devil:, but i'll be using camber adjustment too.

How are you mounting the rear coilovers?

Think ill be mounting mine to the cage some how.

Ill be running on 15" wheels tho so dont have a clue how much i can lower it by.

The rear i'm running springs and dampers so i've got to cut some coils :devil:.

The gmax rears I have tested with my dampers and the damper is fully extended . Reasons for loosing a few coils .

What size rims you on then?

i took the springs and dampers off the rear of my old cinq and dropped it, you can go very low!!!! theres plenty of space in the arch

14x6, 175/50/14 pirellis.

My friend had his sei lowered all the way to -120mm on the abarth rims with nankang 175/50/15.

If i lower my sx 60mm it is the equvielent of droping a sporting 40mm.

has anyone dropted there sporting seicento 40mm, if so how did it handle?

i dropped my sporting 50mm front and it handles great tbh. FK kit highley recomended. ALOT better than my standard suspension.

thanks for the positivity pal, as for the strut brace. Ive been looking on the net and can only seem to find them for a sporting, will a aftermarket sporting strut brace fit a sx seicento??

Yes essentially all of the braqces for cinq's and sei's are the same (bolt pattern and fitment wise). Only thing that seems to vary is the design of how it all fits.

get a strut brace for a 98-00 sporting though

the 01-04 ones are modified in order to bypass the ABS box (if it has ABS fitted)

ok i have got a 97 cinq sporting and i am lowering it and it is not advised that i get a lower brace is that right cos i have like a mile of space under the car (as in i can almost slide under without a jack) yes i am going down 60 on the front so would i hit the speed bump problem

yes, not only speedbumps to worry about, think of potholes etc

maybe not an effect at the minute but when you lower it it could be a problem

FK do a -50 front and -30 back. google "venom motorsport"
