General Seicento sunroof handle allowing water to leak inside the car.

Hi there. Dunno if this has happened to anyone else. But i decided to take my 2003 Fiat Seicento Active Sport through a automatic car wash. And I usually just hand wash it. But I have noticed today that rain has came through the handle. First shocked by the freezing cold drops on my back it seems water is able to get through when the car is at a standstill. Anyone know of a solution. Cars getting a service within the next week so I’ll have the garage check on it for me too.

Open the roof and pour water down the drain tubes. Chances are one or both are blocked.

Both of them are draining as they should. Draining perfectly. It's stunning me as it's just started happening after I took it through an automatic car wash. I think I have tightened the latch and hopefully that's the end of it.

If the latch is bolted through the glass, then remove the bolts and coat the rubber washer/gasket (which I presume it must have) with some silicon sealant, if it's a bit tired.

I let it dry through the day yesterday by taking a nice wee drive. I also checked the screws that were tightening the open plate and tightened them up more. It was raining last night and no water so far. I'll try this if I see any water getting through.
