Hi all.

Seicento 1.1 mpi

Leaking quite a lot of oil which I’m tracing back.

It’s holding coolant and not over heating but wondered if this could possibly be beginning of head gasket failure.

I'm also not sure what coolant level, overheating or head gasket have to do with an oil leak?

It's the oil level you need to be checking if it's leaking oil. Is it losing oil? Dripping oil on to the ground?

I would clean that area to see where it starts leaking. Might just be from the seal on the oil filter. BTW, how old is that filter?

I was thinking leaky sump looking at the picture hence why I asked if it looked like it was coming from higher up. Agreed it needs a good clean and see where it’s coming from

Hi all.

Edit*

Forgot to mention. Looks like it’s coming from the head gasket.

Leaking from around from high up.

But wanted to post on here to see if it would potentially be anything else.

I’m gathering the ideas it could be the oil pump gasket or cam shaft seal.

Or cam cover gasket although has been changed.

Will clean it off with some break cleaner and hopefully will get a better idea then.
