Panda (Classic) Grumbleweed

Introduction

been stubbornly refusing to stir outside the panda section for a long while but put a fair bit of time into tidying the old lad up this summer so thought I'd stick some photos together to show the state of play just now.
So for those of you who aren't al ready au fait, this is Grumbleweed, a 1990 Panda Sergio Tacchini with a mix of scrapyard warrior mods and fresh bits:

look! even found some scenery to take some pics:)

Highlights include the new mk2 golf splitter and chavtastic blue lensed driving lamps (they were reduced OK) in the front bumper, Momo steering wheel, aftermarket gearknob on shortened gearstick, 40mm drop on new standard shocks, mystery retro pepperpot wheels (anybody any idea? came off a Tipo in a scrappy) converted to Uno electronic dizzy, K&N panel filter in standard airbox with shortened intake, Powerflow stainless exhaust rear section with Y10 standard front section, array of extra instrumentation (tacho, oil pressure and volts) and assorted other bits and bobs dotted around that my father in law (the previous owner) fitted and I just find out about when new stuff I buy mysteriously doesn't fit:confused:
Andrew.
Grumbleweed was looking well (y) Seemed to be going well from that screech of tires I heard in Cupar :D
Thanks, you heard that eh:eek:, more a lack of front end grip than tyre shredding power I think, and it was quite a small gap..
Loving them wheels, what are those ones..?
Thanks. Only went back on at the last minute (like 7am on Sunday morning) due to clearance issues on the back bolts with the others. Still no idea where they're from. made by FPS apparently: http://www.autobelle.it/annunci/dettid.php?gb_id=125019:confused:

Well this should help with that high speed stability (probably)

And a useful handle to hold when you're pushing it. :p

I like it really Andrew really suits the look of Grumbleweed (y), just stop before you get to side skirts.

It's actually a trimmed down Tipo grille. I'm not sure, I do quite like it but I think it looks odd with the little oval ones in the bumper, needs to be one or the other really I reckon. MOT today so I'll deal with that first.

I was thinking the same...for me I would ditch the small round ones.
problem is the matching small oval holes in the bumper, I would have to resort to my very last spare bumper:eek:

MOT passed, the old lad even cruised through the emissions without any extra persuasion which I was pleasantly surprised at (anyone who heard the tickover at Stanford will understand) so still looking healthy.(y)
