Looking to finally buy a new Punto and I'm trying to price up a GP 1.4 16v and a 1.6 M-Jet Sporting.

Is the Sporting worth the extra couple of grand? Or is it just different wheels, skirts and a couple of seconds quicker?

Only thing that I dont like about the GP is the alloys, look to much like the wheeltrims you get on the other models.

Might be buying it on PCP so dont think I can change them unfortunately.

What are people getting mpg wise with these two?

Anyone got any pictures of theres in white or black?

Cheers for the help

GP 1.4 16V is quick enough, do what i did and buy some TJET wheels for it.
looks the bees knees.. save a few bob. lovely car:slayer:
GP ftw.

thats with the 1.9 alloys on it.

MPG situation.. anything from 33mpg around town and short journeys to.. 50-60 on motorway..

hope this helps! and remember GP.

Defo need new alloys!

Need to see if I can buy them on the deal Im trying to price or if I can mod the car once I get it.

Sunroof makes it look smart as well. Extra few hundred quid right enough.

You get any of the options? Tints/cruise/sub etc?

Cheers for that mate.

What was the OTR price of that if you dont mind me asking?

You get it from a Fiat dealer?

Been told that getting a Sporting or 16v GP is going to be a nightmare because Fiat have stopped making them? Only way I'll get one is if someone has it in stock somewhere?

Also, how big is the difference between the 8v and 16v 1.4GP's? 16v is a lot quicker to 60 but do you notice the less power most of the time?

Yes what u have been told is true.No more 16v 95hp.
1.2 is underpowered tbh go for the 16v if u find one

Thats not good news.

Dealer I was at just took delivery of a Sporting as a demonstrator. Whats the point in that if they are stopping making the cars?

Final question, for now :D

Does anyone have any pics of a Sporting with the standard 17" alloys?

The streamline of the car seems very good. Good car. I like it. (y)
