A bit off topic but would I be completely mad (and therefore in the spirit of the pandaists) to buy a very cheap seicento whilst Fizzle (my only road worthy car) is poorly? Ahhhh

Trouble is I need a car to go see a car whilst my car is poorly :bang:

Anyone got a loaner?

and yes I am completely serious/delirious

I'd say leave the Seicento personally. Unless its a desperate need i'd put money into existing projects.

Methinks little hand says its time to rock and roll on the Gtie (y)

(sorry been watching Hot Fuzz)

Yep, no Seicento, though there is a rover 100 for £200 locally....

Taking Fizzle to the garage tomorrow to get a quote.

I think Vernon's got two or three in front of the Gtie but I am quite literally making pant tents thinking about the wee beastie :p ;)

Behold, the alloys have returned from their migration into the garage. The winters are back in hibernation :)

Forgot that the 165/70s (X1/9 fitment, came with the wheels) rub - they're fine on the back, but they touch the bumper at the front occasionally.

Going to go for 155/70s instead, should give me some scope for lowering if the need arises in the future. Which it possibly might.

Been hoping to polish the bare aluminium bits on the wheels for some time - some helpful chap read my mind and posted a nice guide on Retro Rides yesterday...

I'm still feeling a bit nervous about only having one roadworthy car at the moment and it's reignited my interest in cinqs/sei's.

They are very small and don't eat much after all ;)

I may go and see one soon to see how I feel about one in the metal

Why not just get another Panda?

I don't think Panda Panda Sei or Panda Panda Cinq would suit :p

Cinq/seis are cheaper! ;)

If you're serious John, try an Uno. They are bigger & comfortable, look like a (ahem! ) Giant Panda, great fun, and criminally cheap at the moment. Buy a 1000 Fire and even the engine's the same. (y)

Edit: if you insist on keep renaming yourself you could end up being PUPPY (panda, Uno, panda, panda, Y10)!

I'd love an Uno but find me one to buy for £300! Today!

There was an almost mint one 2 weeks ago - tax & test sold for £300. The thread's in the Uno section. I nearly rescued it, but someone saved me from myself.

They come up quite regularly, but the best I can do today is a selecta for £450 - too much without an mot IMHO.

£300 you'll find one if you can wait! (y)

£100 more than the cinq I'm off to see. Would want a mk1 3 door as switches are great. Had a 5 door one and a cinq before so retreading old ground. My car history excluding 205 and rover 2400 is p m u g c y p p p y!
