Herbie wasn't happy, fuel light was on and needle below, but it wasn't terribly low.
Got 29 litres in and petrol started pissing out the filler neck. Readjusted the nozzle, got going briefly and it started again. I gave up at 30.87 litres and the gauge is only at a third.
p.s. This has happened once before.
