hi, I have a 2016 Fiorino, originally on petrol but I had a gas tank (LPG liquid petrol gas) built in in 2017.

It's often going smoothly into gear, but then next time there might be noise and struggle when trying to get it into first gear or reverse. IT's inconsistent.
I went to my garage and asked to fix it while changing belt etc, but all he said afterwards was that the clutch pedal was stiff. It's on the same level as the other pedal. There's no difference in warm or cold. He said he could change a part but I'm thinking he should probably drive it a bit and maybe know what is wrong with it ? Or is that not possible ?
I think I do something wrong because I had the same issues with my Punto 2004. I often play with the pedal when standing still uphil, instead of keeping my foot on the break. Noone ever told me those things so yeah, three cars in I realize my errors :p
I don't see anything wrong with the rpm/ but Im no expert.

Also have issues with stuttering when I hit the gas, esp when gear is a bit high for what I'm doing. Also happens when just driving away in first gear sometimes. THe LPG garage hooked it up to a computer and said it was ok, and I should change the spark plugs. Didn't help much. I googled it and that can be a lot of causes. So I guess that'll just be the way it is since I can't spend thousands on investigating :/
Feels like this car isn't going to last me long. The Punto was 14 when I sold it and was a bit of a speeding monster at that age even. With this one I'm having trouble just driving into a street after stopping first.

Sounds like the clutch is a problem. Is it the original clutch from new? 125,000 miles and many clutches need replacing.

If the clutch pedal is stiff it might be the clutch slave rather than the clutch.
yes original. The clutch is the set of discs, right ? I don't know much about what happens inside.

If you're lucky it'll be the clutch slave, you can see one below. Fixing that is relatively easy and cheap.

If its the clutch itself then its a bigger and expensive job to fix, those discs are pictured below.

thanks. Is it possible there are two of those slaves in the fiat punto ? I had the issue with that car before this one, and the garage first replaced one (the outer one, easier and cheaper) and then the second one. Somewhere near the pedal, i think
