Confused forum or what, I'm surprised I got this far but not surprised if I'm in wrong place..Anyway got a Ducato 2002 Motorhome here that I'm doing the get to know how everything works theory. Got no habitation power at mo but getting there. Need to know what all the fuses are for in cab right and left of dash....Here picture uploads like other forum..Getting there...

Hi,
Do you know which Ducato you have? Ther are several variations and of course year ranges and engine types. First place to look is the owners manual, did one come with the car? We have downloads on the forum of manuals for most of the cars, but not the commercials. You may be able to download it from the Fiat website.

We had a 2002 Autotrail Motorhome on the Ducato chassis 2.8 engine.
The main habitation fuses and relays for the split charging and fridge/freezer were behind the battery under the bonnet

In our MH there is a Power Supply Unit (PSU) that looks after the Hab' area, have you found yours.

Ah back again beer in hand. What have we right Ducato is a 2002 2.8 JTD facelift model, meaning its got a grill up front instead of well no grill at all. It came with a large wallet containing how fridge, cooker, heater, etc works and a Ducato booklet but wouldn't call it a manual.
Been working to stop water getting onto battery and sealing drain hose that goes down back of engine. Will post these picks up soon. Was this water getting onto battery a fault with these engine bays due to sealing of 2 galvanised covers above wiper motor. I thought these were wiper motor trays for holding motor.
As to Hab fuse+split charge relay looking for these too but there is a relay or summit on bulkhead near battery.
PSU well that might be what I'm looking for regarding no power up back but still to find.
Think the X244's etc are latter versions after JTD's.

I think you will find that the said manuals are applicable to your vehicle which is a "restyled" X244 "with grille", some on the forum who know more than I say the last X230 models had the JTD engines as well.
The second series body 94-06 (X230 & X244, the 230 had a different dash see attached pic) was restyled in February 2002, with the addition of rear and side bump mouldings and revised front grille as well as a new Dash.
The engine range was: 2.0 JTD, 2.3 JTD 16v and 2.8 JTD, 2.5 diesel was dropped (X244)
Officially the X244 went from 2002 to late 2006 replaced by the X250 then X290 which had "Multijet " 3.0 & 2.3 engines & in Europe there a 2.0 multi jet as well, not out here in OZ.
There seems to be a lot of crossovers between the 230 & early 244 with engines etc.
As you will find on the forum the X230 eLearn (WSM) & English versions of the 230 owner manual are extinct but the 244 eLearn is downloadable from the forum as well as said manuals.
From your Pics of the Dash it is a 244, maybe an early one with a mechanical speedo (a cable) & the old 3 pin diagnostic plug. The late 2002 to 06 had electronic speedos & the proper "D" OBD plug to the right of the steering column (RHD).

I own a 2001 Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD, LHD Motorhome (Dethleffs), 130,000 km on the clock, had it since new.
My horn wasn't working and there was no power to the horn itself. After searching in the engine bay and in the cab and online, I finally located the vehicle fuse box.
In the case of my vehicle, it's under a black plastic cover in the glove compartment. You simply pull it towards you and voila, there are the fuses.
Fuse 12 was blown ........... horn fixed, now I can put the vehicle thru the inspection tomorrow.

Right ok, I am a contributor at Out and about live as I have a bit knowledge in common rail systems faults. But saying that I wanted to try the Fiat forum and give you's the chance on answers and you's have done well so far leading me to read a wee bit.

Last year I purchased a Winnebago on a 2005 Ducato RHD in Australia which looks identical to your photos. I also got very little information with it and have searched out and accumulated whatever I can. I have extracted the info about the fuse box locations and fuses from the owners manual (obtained on line from this forum I think) and found it very helpful. Of course none of this will impact your coach power as that is usually all supplied from a separate coach system (my fuse box is above the coach entrance door) although mine has a charging supply from the battery fuse box CBA to the coach system.
Looks good Kconnell, fuse boxes look right. Getting boxes and fuse numbers with their uses on same page would be ideal. Thanks.

..on that vintage of Swift, it's likely you'll find the split-charge/fridge relays, and associated fuses, behind the black plastic cowl at the upper, centre rear of the engine bay.
Two easily seen and removed nuts, and it lifts off.

I thought someone had already posted a link to the Sargent Schematics, but it would appear I was mistaken.
They seem to have removed anything earlier than 2004, but there will (IMO) have been little change from your 2002 vehicle.
The 2004 schematic can be downloaded from:

...and should help you with the circuitry, if not the geography. (It makes obvious what the relays and fuses you've now exposed are).
I think quite a bit of the wiring from the engine compartment entered the 'van below and behind the vehicle battery and tray, but I certainly wouldn't want to stake a lot on it!
