The front has always looked too low compared to the rear, it's sort of angled down. The previous owner had front springs replaced a couple of years ago but doesn't have any details - it was on the MOT, I doubt it was a main dealer.

If the wrong length springs were fitted would it effect the ride height? Looking at replacement springs (Autodoc) there's about 20 different sizes ranging from 380mm to 458mm in length and with different coil sizes, that's with putting my reg in. I called my local FIAT dealer and they couldn't give me any info, he said they have one in stock so he looked and said it's about 460mm long, but that's it, they couldn't give me the part number.

So how do I tell what I've got, would it have to be taken apart to measure. How would any garage know what to order if there's so many options and FIAT won't give you any info?

To be fair, that nose down stance seems to be normal for these. My tame mechanic replaced springs on both my 2015 and 2017 1.3 Combo with 'mid range' springs from Euro Car Parts, and they were fine. May be different springs needed for the 1.6 ?

If yours is a 1.3, try searching as a Combo rather than a Doblo maybe ?

Mine's a 1.6, when I look at images on the web they look different to mine (photo from RAC review) on mine I've got a very small gap from the top of the tyre to the wheel arch, my dashcam keeps recording incidents when I hit bumps/potholes and on speed bumps I have to slow right down as it's a bit harsh.

So, from elsewhere, someone said they measured from the ground to the lip if the wheel arch and theirs was 680mm, I just measured mine and it's 650mm, that's a bit of a difference.
