General Fiat missed a trick…

Oh what a suprise.... Fiat my rear end. Its progress but towards what.

Nothing exciting I feel, but then that is the real Achilles heel of all electric cars. The motors are BORING BORING BORING. Ultimately this is good as when there is only 1 car make left and they all look the same they can all have the same motor, and of course, the same faults. Then the computer chips can all go down on the same day and nothing will ever happen in the world ever again. All employees will be fired on the same day and this will result ineveryone going home and turing on the kettle at the same time resulting in huge power outages and a resultant baby boom 9 months later. This will be followed by a ban on children and androids will take over. In their boredom tehy will invent Fiats and teh cycle can begin again....
Aye it won't be long before every mechanic has to be an auto-electrician and meccano expert :)

Check here for the future of cars;

LOL.

I read an article that said at some point in the future nobody will own a car in big cities. Instead there will be self driving taxis everywhere.

A bit like Uber but without the driver.

In that circumstance driving would be a lot cheaper, because everybody is car sharing!
I’ll buy a bicycle before I give in to a scheme like that!

I'd consider it, but imagine if you got in the car after someone really stinky? Or if they left the car with burgers all over the floor! Or worse! LOL
That’s true. Although there are definitely times in the past when I’ve left my own sea of McDonald’s bags a little too long on the floor 🙈 at least then I can blame someone else… oh the future 😆

I eat in the car quite a lot. For my anniversary the missus has offered to buy me a cordless vacuum cleaner...I said I'd give that a miss for the presents but it's on a list of things to buy :)

I also said if you buy me a cordless vacuum cleaner for our anniversary i'll buy you a saucepan :)
Mother in law once received an iron and a new ironing board cover for Christmas from FiL, that didn’t go down well, so he bought her an ‘electronic’ toothbrush…think I know where the MiL would have liked to have stuffed them
