I have recently purchased a 2015 Hymer Exsis motorhome with a Fiat Ducato cab. There is one button on the dash that I have not seen before and isn't mentioned in the Fiar Ducato handbook that came with the vehicle. I will attach a photo. IMG_4472.jpeg

Can anyone tell me what this is for please? When pushed a similar image lights up on the dash.

It is the ”up-button” , that changes the gear changing pattern for the Comfortmatic robot. It is intented for uphill driving with heavy loaded cars (i.e most MHs). Some users (like myself) use it most of the time, to avoid unneccessary stress on the engine and transmission. You will notice the difference if you test it while driving. Text from Fiat manual:

That’s great. I totally understand now but didn’t see it in the Ducato handbook.

Thanks very much.

I have another question. The previous owner of my motor home bought it new in 2015. He said that it was only supplied with one ignition key and one habitation key.
Is this correct and how can I obtain spare keys, including remote locking for the ignition key.
Any advice greatly appreciated

The habitation key can be copied at a good keysmith, I had mine done at Timpson's. At the recent Norwich show there was a keysmith who could clone your existing remote locking key. He needed access to the vehicle and it cost about £150.
