Hello,

I have a campervan (Burstner Campeo C640) on a 2020 Fiat Ducato L4H3 Maxi 2.3 140hp. I am looking for the reversing signal to connect to my Alpine receiver for back-up camera signal. I used a multimeter to probe all the pins form the fuse box connectors, but I didn't have any succes :(.

Nothing I read in other threads doesn't seems to apply and I hope it will not be necessary to use a CAN adaptor or to run a wire from the reverse lamp.
Can you help me, please?

Model
Ducato L4H3 Maxi
Year
2020
This is how my fusebox look like, for further references.

I wired my reverse camera into the reversing light which worked.
Current consumption was too small to affect the canbus - OK I thought
But it was a real pain because the camera took a few seconds to come on every time I selected reverse gear
This is not what we want when shunting backwards and forwards into a tight parking space!
I was causing an obstruction whilst I was waiting for the camera to come on, and people were understandably getting impatient wondering what I was f*cking about at!!
So now I have my reversing camera activated by a dashboard switch, so the camera stays on till I want it to turn off.
Its far better !

The reverse light signal can be seen in MES so I guess an Arduino could sniff and output a signal for a head unit.
The Arduino could do s lot more if you wanted it.
