Hello all. I have just taken delivery of my Fiat 500 1.2 8v Lounge. Its brand new registered on a 61 plate, however, much to my dismay it doesnt have a dashboard port.

I have already sold my old SatNav unit in favour of getting something integrated with Blue&Me.

Can anyone tell me if this only became standard on a certain model year with Blue&Me? If i find out my car has been sat in a warehouse for years, im basically going to tell them to take it back.

Deako AFAIK the port is a no cost option but is not fitted as standard, it has to be added to the order manually. An on the ball salesman should have informed you of this fact.

Balls. Really disappointed. All the cars were pre-reg, already in the UK sold through the company i work for, with a discount the likes of which you cant get from a Fiat dealership.

I bet they would all be the same without the dash port. Guess ill have to get an Tomtom mount for my new iPhone 4S instead. :(

Of you could just use the Blue&Me Tom Tom unit with a screen mount. You'll have far more functionality with it :)

Is it a uk spec car, thought all had blue and me now, could be wrong though, pm me chassis and i can check

I had to specificially ask my dealer to include the port option on my order - as said above unless you have an on the ball dealer you shouldn't count on getting it specified on your car unless you ask.

It has ALWAYS been an option since at least 2009. The configurator is completely useless and should be disregarded.
