Good afternoon
I am a new member joined today 10/4/25.
I have a Fiat Ducati Motorhome year 2000.
I seem to be having trouble with the awning going back into place . When I wind it in the ends are in place but the middle seems to not want to go back in so I have a gap . Any suggestions as to the problem will be appreciated.

Hi Colin, When and how did this problem start? Could there be a foreign body in the track? Are the legs in the right way round? There's a few things to check and answer.I have a Fiamma awning and it can be an awkward sod so I don't use it much. The feet on the ends of the legs have to be folded in the correct way for the awning to store properly. All the Best. Ian.

Just a little tip. I assume your awning came with a winding handle. If you own a cordless drill, take the hex bar from an old silicon sealant gun. Attach to drill and "hey presto" effortless winding. Drill just hangs there while you get the legs out. Also, if your awning has not got a central bar that enables you to tension the material so it doesn't flap about, (these came as an extra) get one of the cheap clothes props from B&M. They work just as good for a fraction of the price.
