Hi all, Today my engine ran on for a few seconds after ignition switch off. What causes engine to stop and where can I find it? Many Thanks, Ian Van 1996 1.9td Ducato x230.

Stop solenoid screws into injection pump near injector pumps. See here.

Look for the four similar injector pipes running down from the top of the engine, probably at the front. These pipes will lead you to the injection pump.

Erratum. In post #2 above, for "injection pump." please read "injection pipes." ( I should not post while eating my lunch!)

Hi again, Just been out for a little run and some fuel. threw in a bottle of diesel system cleaner and everything is O.K. MIght just be coincidence, who knows? but many thanks. Ian.
