Hi, I have a 2015 Fuat Ducato Rapido 600FF and the electric drop down bed has stopped working and no power getting to the control panel. Can someone point me in the direction of the firebox that controls the bed. I have found the one under the dash and also in cupboard in bathroom but both don’t have the fuse in question. Thank you

Hello,

It's 100% Rapido specific. Have you got their owner's manual? If not, contact them, they should be able to provide you one. Or tell where the fuse should be located.

In the standard Ducato that were delivered to the converter companies there are 3 fuseboxes: the one by the driver's outside knee, the one in the engine bay by the ECU and on the bottom of the B-pillar on the right hand side. This one was optionnal, but it facilitates the connections, so I assume most of the converters ordered it.

Usually the converter connects the MH part of the installation to this last one factory fusebox and usually adds his own fuseboxes further on to control the MH part. So, as stated in the beginning, if you don't have the Rapido manual or it is not listed there, contact them directly.

aTTACHED Fuse box is from a Rapido 604ff 2017 the model that superceeds yours. i suspect you have a simular cbe fusebox . I have had grief with the programming of the bed but never had fuse go. Possibly one of the 20A fuses (aux most likely). edit location of my fuse box is in the Ski cupboard.
Have you got project 2000 bed details? i will post if required

Yes I have the same but bed is not in there

600ff seen no reference to one in years, then 2 in a fortnight so i will repeat the info i sent.
a lot of the problems with project 2000 is the zero stop and overfilling the gap (ie too much bedding, heres my collection of references over the years.

first instructions on how to reprogram. before you go there the problem msybre the microswitch controling the end stop or too much bedding to het it up properly. so get to top somehow remove anything on bed and move bed up til stop then turn off then on down then up again. basicaly to reset. to program Enter in programming mode after having switched on the panel.
To enter the programming mode, hold the hidden button (between the button UP and DOWN) and the button UP for 7 seconds.
The green LED light with the symbol of the key switches on. If it doesn’t, repeat the operation.
Put underneath the bed some supports able to hold the bed in the lowest position.
Press the button UP; the bed descends.
Let it rest on the supports and keep pushing until the bed starts raising again.
Bring the bed up to its higher position and let it press the electric contact (limit switch).
Let the bed descend and start programming the positions (depending on the model of the bed can be 3 or 4 points).
Let the bed descend to the first position, press the hidden button plus the button DOWN.
The LED on the arrows will switch off and on again.
Repeat with this procedure for the next 2-3 points and the system will automatically quit the programming mode.
If you don't have a manual winding handle then as suggested above a 5mm allen key may fit.

additional info Reset
On the control panel to the right of the lights, there is a small hole which is a reset. Press a pencil point firmly into that reset hole. Then, in between the up and down buttons, feel for a little raised bit. Press the raised bit and the up button at the same time and count to 7. Release and then press the up button only and hopefully the bed will work. If not, try and press the raised bit and the the down button together after the reset instead of the up button
Reset2
On our control panel, just to the right of the up button, there are two lights and a small hole. The lights have, one a triangle with an exclamation mark, next a spanner, and finally the hole has test written by it. Lower the bed a few centimetres down from the upper position and then stick a cocktail stick in the hole. The two lights next to the test hole will then light up briefly. Reset done. If the head end does not lower when you rise the bed in the morning then take the bed up as high as it will go without the head end touching the roof. Next do a reset, as described, then lower the bed until it stops at the normal point that head should have lowered, wait a second or two, then press the up button. The head should now lower and thereafter you can raise the bed to the normal day position.
