I did. You just loosen the cooling unit mounting bolts and this gives the required amount of play. Fit the plate/gaskets and re tighten the cooling unit bolts last.
yes I did trying for ages took out the gasket went right on no leaks so it fine
I have been in the motor trade for over 35years fitted lots of egr plates and a lot don't come with gaskets
hi. I was planning to take the EGR & the cooling unit off in 1 piece just undoing the 4 bolts on the cooling unit & the 2 clips around the metal pipes either side that way putting it back would be easier with the gaskets on or not

Thats what I did but the 2 bolts into the manifold can be a bitch and I snapped the first one and had to drill it out so I left the other one as it was difficult to get a direct line to drill it so I checked that the EGR was clean and closed then just used the Tafmet unit.
