Looking for help please, my Ducato MoHo runs fine for about 10 miles, then clutch pedal stops returning, then I can’t select a gear without pumping the clutch. Master cylinder has been replaced, it’s with the mechanic but he says the slave is not leaking and the fluid is clear(?). Has anyone else had this problem? Xx

Ducato 634 motorhome

Not sure, it’s an Apache 634u van if that helps. No recent work before the master cylinder was replaced. We’ve had the slave cylinder bled (or drained?) to try to resolve the problem, works for a wee while then the gears start sticking again. Thanks for answering 🙂

Hi Moira,

Fiat instituted a major model change in mid 2006. This means that your MH could be either a late registered earlier model (x244), or the later x250 model. To find out what you have consult either the reg. document V5C, or look on the VIN olate under the bonnet. The model number is indicated by the first three numbers of the VIN. i.e, ZFA244.........., or ZFA250.........

1. Understood.
2. Not really.
3 As registered keeper, you should have registration document, V5C.

The V5 is with the van which is on the mainland, I’m on the Isle of Cumbrae. The mechanic who was looking at it (and can’t work out why it’s happening) is back to work tomorrow x
