500 Dualogic /Multiscan colour plug to use?

I am using the yellow plug in the OBD socket for the Multiscan on my Fiat 500 1.2 8v and I can integrate most things but I would like to go in to the transmission module but I can't connect with the yellow plug should I be using a different one. Any help would be appreciated thanks

MES tells you which colour plug to use when you try to connect.
When I attempt to connect on MES for your vehicle, it doesn't ask to use any plug, so connect directly, (same as the engine).

Thanks for the reply I can connect to the body module ok with the yellow plug which like you say it tells you to use. But when I go to the gearbox and the selspeed module I am just getting ELM 327>ECU connection failed
Which I can't understand if I go form the body module that has connected and then straight to the gearbox module you would imagine it should connect

Just plug the ELM327 straight into your cars OBD socket...

I have just plugged the ELM327 in directly and it has worked and I am in to the gearbox module now
