Hello,
I have had to change both daytime running lamps on my wife's 2016 500x after they failed. I also had to replace one of the lamp holders.
Anyway, both lights are working fine, but I am still getting the dashboard warning 'Check the daytime running lights'.
Is there some kind of reset that I need to do or could this be a fault in the circuit?
Any help would be gratefully received!

On my 2015 500X then whenever the DRLs have caused a dash warning message then bulb / holder replacement has automatically cleared the warning after a power off / on recycle. This is normal / should be behaviour for all bulb warnings.

What I would add is that I have replaced bulbs / repaired holders and all is supposedly well. When you next get the warning, touch nothing, stop and see if one has gone out.

I've also noted that the warning is confusing in that a DRL light may be out but the warning seems not to trigger till around/below 20-30 mph. Speed up and it goes away again. I assume this is done to not distract the driver with a "trivial" message when driving at speed????

Hi, thank you for that. I do keep getting out to check them and they have always been both on. We will just have to monitor things...
Regards,
Peter
