So, Goudrons' growing family fleet of Pandas got me musing about what the collective noun for pandas is, and to my surprise and delight, a google search turned up that the collective noun for pandas is ...
... An Embarrassment of Pandas.
So, do we meekly accept that as the correct collective noun for the automotive version, or can we come up with a better one?
I rather like the collective noun for peacocks - an Ostentation - but you could hardly describe Pandas as ostentatious.
Those of us with Friday Afternoon Pandas might prefer "a Liability of Pandas", but why repeat outdated 1970s stereotypes? (Fix It Again Tomorrow, etc etc)
Perhaps we should borrow from the king of the jungle, and refer to a Pride of Pandas?
Does anyone have a better suggestion? Definitely no prizes for the winner!
(As you can see, it's a quiet morning in work today
