General Clutch replacement?

Hello everyone I have a 2014 Fiat 500L and my clutch has been slipping and yesterday it was smoking after a long drive so Ive put it out of commission for the moment Ive been calling around and I found a local shop my dad recommended that can do it for about 1k but the issue is I have to bring my own clutch and the mechanic also advised I get a flywheel as well and I'm looking at about 800 for both do you guys know where online I would get one or a kit that comes with the flywheel clutch kit and the clutch release bearing?

My advice would be to find a different garage, 1k labour seems excessive to me for a clutch swap unless labour rates in the US are generally higher than the UK?

I think you should shop around and get estimates from more garages.

800$ sounds like a lot of labour

What engine do they use over in the USA?
