Hi all. As I am pulling the engine out of the 2007 cross multijet for a clutch and head gasket job amongst other things, I discovered that the sell-adjuster spring at the clutch end of the valve is broken in pieces. It appears not to be part of the replacement cables on offer. The scrap yards have no pandas either.

Can anyone shed any light on this part?

Thanks in advance

Part number only fits the panda but I suspect from the description above the ones on the 1.3 500 is close enough

A-mazing! Koalar, Thank you so much, that is exactly what I'm after. Half the price of the full LUK clutch kit! B*****ds! 😄

It has to go back together this month - this car has been sitting in my yard for the last four months, through the local Valencia floods, the Christmas thing and getting a new job!

Unfortunately out of stock! This is proving a difficult piece to source. Next stop Fiat dealership 🫣
I could not source this part, so I did what I do best, and Rebuilt it!

After a happy surprise whilst taking the engine and gearbox out, I found that the four springs commonly found in the usual clutch friction plates are pretty much spot on in dimensions and tensile strength, plus the fact that these are clutch parts and so designed to take a repeated beating. Might as well give it a go.

I have made a quick 4 min video of this morning's work, and I now have an as new spring thingy to put on the end of my clutch cable again. Here's the link to the visual how to:
