Hello!

I’m stuck and tbh I wanna get as much information out to help as possible!

turbo blew last year parked in shed- standard turbo back on to test them going to put hybrid back in!

I lost the key, so I bought an Ecu kit - which came with ; key, steering wheel and barrel, Ecu and black box for behind glove box!

I plugged it all in - starters gone clicking noise- tested starter and it was gone (power to the starter from jump leads)

Replaced the starter- still 1 click, then nothing, tested new starter in car and working!

Noticed that the battery light comes on the goes off!
Tested All fuses and cleaned ALL ground points! - put the black to the negative and engine mount. Still the same.
Battery is new and charged

Windows were working but now they arnt - sunroof still works!
Can’t lock doors with key or central locking
Not getting any read from Ecu via obd - reads on bench
No diagnostics either but power going to port

Thank you!
Car is 1.9 multijet grande

What's the voltage on the battery, and when starting?
What's the voltage on the starter when starting?

The big red cable is fine, with 12v
The smaller cable is low volts!

One click when starting battery is brand new volts stay the same on battery when trying to start tho when I turn to ignition one lick. Then lights stay on

Could be the earth connection if the positive to the battery is good

Yeah there all fine I checked them all, I’m getting no obd port readings, and Ecu not found with my mpps!

Would/ could this be an imobliser fault?
